Dr. Marina Kukla is a Core Investigator of the CHIC, a clinical psychologist, and Associate Research Professor in the Department of Psychology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She began her career in the CHIC as a postdoctoral fellow in 2010 and as an investigator in 2012. She received a VA RR&D Career Development Award in 2013. Dr. Kukla's professional interests are in mental health services research and psychosocial rehabilitation interventions that promote recovery and community functioning in Veterans with mental illness. She is currently the principal investigator of an HSR&D funded IIR that is a multi-site randomized controlled trial examining a work tailored cognitive behavioral interventional to promote community employment success and recovery in Veterans with serious mental illness. Dr. Kukla is also a co-investigator on several VA-funded health services research projects.
